A Grassroots Beginning
Founding members Eva Eliscu, Rhonda Lerner, Ruth Milikin and Kirsten West, four ladies from four different places in the world met at La Biblioteca in 2015 during Eva's lecture on the History of the Dining Table. During an afternoon coffee at Santa Ana Cafe, the idea of a Food and Film festival was born. With a shared interest in food, film and involvements in various business backgrounds, they decided to create a fundraising project for La Biblioteca.
The first ever Food in Film Festival fundraiser was held in 2016; though there were no plans to create a yearly festival, the positive reception from attendees propelled the evolution of the Food In Film Festival (FIFF) into yearly festival currently on its tenth year.​

About the 2020 Food in Film Festival
The 5th annual Food in Film Festival took place on February 21, 22, & 23, 2020. Our featured guest was the talented Mexican Chef, Daniel Nates from Maizal, Puebla. Our festival presented six films featuring chefs and their cuisine, local food, wine, and beer sponsors, and 3 lectures. Click the links below to see our past lineup and presentations.
